Cadets are reminded to brush up on their Full Uniform in preparation for their 3rd Class Drill Badge Test, which will be held on 7th July 2010.
This includes:
- Cutting any loose thread that might stick out of uniform
- Ironing and starching your uniform
- Seasoning of your berets
- Pulling out any loose patches of stray fabric (i.e. sticking out) from your berets
- Polishing of your boots (Male cadets are reminded to tighten their shoe laces after wearing the boots)
- Alignment of badges; name-tag included
- Alignment of the belt with the shirt (and pants for male cadets)
- Pulling up your socks
- The length of your hair and fingernails must of appropriate length
- Tucking your shirt in fully (please do not fold in; belt must be visible)
- For female cadets, please do remember to bring your hair nets as well
Cadets are also reminded to keep their boots safely in their shoe bags before the test/training (for those who already have the badge) to avoid wasting their efforts polishing the boots due to exposure to the elements
