Ministry of Home Affairs is organising a “NPCC-NCDCC Multi Media Competition 2010″. The theme of the competition is “Safety, Security, ACTION!” MHA would like cadets to produce a one-minute clip on the theme on what they perceive to be the role of thepublic, in safeguarding the safety and security of Singapore. 18 winning schools will have their clips showcased at the Home Team Convention 2010.
The Home Team Convention is an annual event where the achievements and capabilities of the Home Team ( ie agencies under the Ministry of Home Affairs) are celebrated and showcased. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs, Mr Wong Kan Seng, is the Guest of Honour for this milestone event. The Convention comprises an Annual Address segment and a Public Exhibition segment. It will be held at Suntec Convention Hall from14 – 16 May (Friday to Sunday). Admission to the public exhibition, held on15 and 16 May, is free.
Submission for the inaugural competition ends 2 April. Interested cadets, please approach me by Friday.

In this inaugural run, Metta hopes to raise much-needed funds for the beneficiaries of Metta Welfare Association. The charity run will be held on 6 March 2010 at Angsana Green, East Coast Park (Near Car Park E2).
