Cadets are reminded to brush up on their Full Uniform in preparation for their 3rd Class Drill Badge Test, which will be held on 7th July 2010.

This includes:

• Cutting any loose thread that might stick out of uniform
• Ironing and starching your uniform
• Seasoning of your berets
• Pulling out any loose patches of stray fabric (i.e. sticking out) from your berets
• Polishing of your boots (Male cadets are reminded to tighten their shoe laces after wearing the boots)
• Alignment of badges; name-tag included
• Alignment of the belt with the shirt (and pants for male cadets)
• Pulling up your socks
• The length of your hair and fingernails must of appropriate length
• Tucking your shirt in fully (please do not fold in; belt must be visible)
• For female cadets, please do remember to bring your hair nets as well

Cadets are also reminded to keep their boots safely in their shoe bags before the test/training (for those who already have the badge) to avoid wasting their efforts polishing the boots due to exposure to the elements

Cadets should take note that there is Campcraft training on 21 June 2010 at 8.00am in school for all Secondary 2/3 cadets. The attire is PT Kit.

Course Updates:

• Secondary 2 cadets are reminded that there is SANA Course at SANA HQ @ Sengkang Community Hub on 15 June 2010. Cadets should report to school by 0730hrs. The attire is PT Kit.
• Secondary 3 cadets are reminded that there is Police Knowledge Course at Home Team Academy on 15 June 2010. Cadets  should report to school by 0730hrs. The attire is Full Uniform.
• Secondary 3 cadets are reminded that there is Home Front Security Course at Home Team Academy on 16 June 2010. Cadets  should report to school by 0730hrs. The attire is Full Uniform.
• Secondary 1 cadets are reminded that there is Road Safety Course at Road Safety Community Park @ East Coast Park on 24 June 2010. Cadets  should report to school by 1230hrs. The attire is PT Kit.

As shipment for Full Uniform has not arrived in Singapore yet, Full Uniform collection will be in July 2010. Hence, the attire for Road Safety Course for Secondary 1 cadets will be in PT Kit.

Adventure Training Camp / Survival Training Camp for Secondary 2 and 3 cadets will be held from 25 June 2010 to 27 June 2010 at NPCC Camp Resilience, Pulau Ubin. The attire for the 3D2N camp will be PT Kit.

Secondary 2 cadets are reminded that there is Singapore Anti Narcotics Association Badge Course on 15 June 2010 at SANA HQ. Cadets should report to school by 0730hrs, as stated in the Holiday Programme Schedule.

Attendance is compulsory. The attire is PT Kit. In addition, cadets are required to bring their writing materials.

THE DATE OF THE COURSE HAS BEEN CHANGED TO 15 JUNE 2010. Cadets, please spread the message to other cadets.

Secondary 3 cadet leaders who have taken part in the LMSC course at Pei Hwa Secondary School, please complete the LMSC 2010 Feedback on http://npcclmscfeedback.blogspot.com by 15 June 2010, as announced by the Course Coordinator during the course. It is compulsory for all cadets to complete the LMSC Feedback form to receive the certificate of participation.

The Secondary 4/5 Cadet Leaders will officially pass out on 20 May 2010. MJR NPCC thanks them for their contributions that they have made towards the unit during their 4 – 5 years in NPCC.
